SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We are very open to taking on new clients. Submit a well-prepared proposal that will take minimal fine-tuning for submission to publishers. Nonfiction writers must be highly marketable and media savvy – the more established in speaking or your profession, the better.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:
Email ("only" method):
Queries and proposals will be accepted by email only.
Please do not send your entire manuscript unless requested.
Email submissions should be sent to:

BigScore needs one to two months to evaluate your work.

Fiction - Proposals should include the following:

  1. Overview, including what makes your material fresh and unique, target market, category, length of manuscript, and completion date
  2. Synopsis (overall - 100 words or less, and chapter-by-chapter)
  3. Three sample chapters (chapters 1, 2, and your final chapter; or chapers 1, 2, and 3)
  4. Author's biography with publication history and what you can do to help promote your book
  5. Endorsements, if available
  6. Analysis of your book's competition (give title, author, publisher, year of publication, and why your book is different)
  7. List of publishers, if any, that have seen your manuscript
  8. Are other agents looking at your manuscript?
